Torrential rains hit Chenxi County, Huaihua, Hunan Province on June 3 and June 19 in 2022, unleashing floods, disrupting roads and power, and damaging crops and houses. Local authorities have made great efforts in relocation and disaster relief work through cross-departmental collaboration.
In order to promote post-disaster reconstruction, the Fund recently donated funds to the Chenxi County Charity Association to help with construction projects such as creek embankment repair and facilities for safe drinking water, hoping to help the local people better tide over the difficulties and rebuild their homes.
