About the Fund

Chan Cheung Mun Chung Charitable Fund (CCMCCF), established as a registered charitable fund in Hong Kong in 2008 (IR No: 91/9906), has been strategically supporting universities, organizations as well as enthusiastic individuals to explore more sustainable development approaches by launching inspirational projects that aim to make positive changes in the areas of ecological construction, post-disaster reconstruction, community development, education, and give support for the vulnerable.

Over the years, remarkable results have been achieved in the projects supported by CCMCCF. Among the successful projects, the advanced rammed-earth construction technique has been widely adopted in different provinces of mainland China, improving the living environment of thousands of low-income or disaster-stricken families. This research and demonstration project has received recognition from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China, as well as international and professional organizations. Since the end of 2019, the global outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic posed a great challenge to villagers and grassroots families. Therefore, CCMCCF has been actively providing support to these people and joining hands with the public to weather the hard times.

About the Founder

Chan Cheung Mun Chung Charitable Fund (CCMCCF) was established by Mr. Hung Ming Chan in memory of his beloved wife who passed away during a charity mission overseas. The Fund was founded to extend his eternal love and thought to his wife, and continue their common mission in doing good for the love of humanity.

In 1995, Mr. H. M. Chan founded Grand Ming Group, a building construction company with business covering construction, property development and high-tier data centre leasing services in Hong Kong and mainland China. Mr. Chan is now the Chairman and Executive Director of the Group. He believes that construction is a process of connecting hearts and making dreams a reality. He aspires to give back to the Society with a variety of charity causes on education, eco-construction and poverty relief.
