Trailwalker Teaching Room's Youth Trail Running Project
Underprivileged children and young people in Hong Kong usually have few opportunities to participate in extra-curricular activities. Since 2022, we have supported Trailwalker Teaching Room(TTR) to provide extracurricular courses on hiking and trail-running to underprivileged children and teens. The initiative also aims to provide essential knowledge on care and treatment for injuries and help students improve their fitness levels and health. Through this, we also hope to enhance underprivileged students’ self-confidence and provide them with equal opportunities for development.

Project Highlights
In 2023, TTR continued its weekly running training and health classes, encouraging past participants to embrace the spirit of mentorship by supporting new students and sharing their experiences for mutual growth. Moreover, the program collaborated with local elementary schools to offer courses aimed at instilling healthy exercise habits in students less inclined towards sports.
From hosting internal competitions to organizing trips for teenagers to compete in races in Switzerland, TTR aims to boost the confidence of students from disadvantaged backgrounds through self-challenges. It also provides them with opportunities to broaden their horizons internationally, fostering ongoing learning and development.
