Recently, we are honored to have Dr. Qiu Baoxing, the Academician of International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, the Deputy Head of the expert group of the State Council’s Coordination Group for Promoting Governmental Function Change and Streamline Administration and Delegate Powers Reform of Government Functions, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of P.R.China (MoHURD), and the Member of National Expert Committee on Climate Change, as the Honorary Advisor of our Fund.
Over the years, Dr. Qiu has provided great support for the work and development of the Fund. With Dr. Qiu’s guidance and support by the Fund, the projects by Wu Zhi Qiao(Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation, such as MOHURD Demonstration Project of Advanced Rammed Earth Eco-Dwellings and Macha Village Center in Gansu, have achieved remarkable results and been recognized by the MoHURD and international professional organizations.
Dr. Qiu Baoxing, former Vice Minister of MoHURD, is the Academician of International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, the Deputy Head of the expert group of the State Council’s Coordination Group for Promoting Governmental Function Change and Streamline Administration and Delegate Powers Reform of Government Functions, the Member of National Expert Committee on Climate Change, the Chairman of IWA China Committee, the President of Chinese Society for Urban Studies. He holds a PhD in Economics and a PhD in Engineering. As a renowned expert in urban planning and construction in China, he has received several awards from UNESCO, World Green Building Council and other organizations. His several books have been translated into English, German, Italian etc. and published overseas.
